Keyboard shortcuts help you move through Darkroom faster, especially when culling, batch-editing, and exporting many assets. They are available on Mac and on iPad when using a hardware keyboard, and for many users a keyboard-first workflow dramatically cuts the repetitive UI navigation out of a session.
You don't need to memorize the whole list at once — learn them in layers, starting with the keys you reach for most. If one slips your mind, hold the Command key on iPad to surface the shortcut overlay, or check the menu bar labels on Mac. The biggest speed gains come during review and culling sessions: keep one hand on the arrow keys to navigate and the other on the rating and review keys, and you can fly through a large set without touching the screen.
The tables below are grouped by where you are. Library shortcuts apply while you're browsing; view, edit, and tool shortcuts apply once a photo is open. The same key can mean different things in each place — ⌘1 shows Recents in the library and zooms to fit in the editor.
